Position Description:
The Reliability Quality Engineer will be responsible for defining, developing and executing quality and reliability plans to verify and to improve product reliability for robotic systems. Works as a liaison engineer between Engineering, Vendors, and Manufacturing to transition new products into manufacturing, and sustains existing products. The candidate will be required to analyze and verify engineering design concepts of electronic and opto-mechanical products using simulation and test tools. He/she will be expected to propose design improvement based on analyses results. |
Responsibilities:
· Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) concepts to develop test plans to improve product robustness and performance. · Apply your knowledge of product design and manufacturing to develop test concepts such as FMEA, HASS. HALT, Derating/Stress, Reliability Prediction, Critical Items List, Limited Life Items, and Safety. · Apply acceleration models and test protocols for common failure mechanisms in electronic products to estimate product service life. · Candidate will use statistical techniques and models to analyze test data and estimate product life cycle performance. · Analyze use of product and calculate the cumulative effect upon the reliability of the complete system produced by the individual reliability built into components and sub-assemblies. · Provide guidance to Electrical Design Engineers in the development of more reliable products. · Review screening and test data received from manufacturers and test laboratories for compliance to specification and purchase order. · Evaluate defective components and issue failure analysis reports as required. · Analyze reliability data, including calculation of MTTF and FITs. · Occasional travel and onsite support is required. |
· BS degree, maturity, seasoning and a proven track record of success as a senior level Reliability Engineer. · The candidate should have experience in using Physics-of-Failure based approach to develop and implement accelerated tests to mitigate risks and qualify engineering designs during product development. · Demonstrated experience in applying FMEA to evaluate product (mechanical and electronic) functional performance as well as address overstress and fatigue-related durability problems. · Relevant Reliability and Components (Parts) Engineering background. · Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities. · Self starter, self-motivated. · Candidate will work directly with cross-functional teams and senior levels of management; therefore; strong and effective communication and writing skills are required. · Experience in developing and managing test plans for quality, validation, and compliance of electronic and mechanical systems pertaining to robotics, PCB’s, and software/hardware · Very strong interpersonal skills · Demonstrated capability to manage and enhance staff productivity while building strong working relationships · Detailed oriented, through, attention to accuracy and details · Ability to develop project plans (MS project knowledge) |

Position Description: CasePick Systems, LLC., is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and unit test software components for state of the art automated material handling system.

Responsibilities: The qualified applicant will have strong experience working with distributed architecture, near real-time commands & display of equipment and associated data, C++, C#, and multi-threaded / multi-processor environment. Familiar with Postgres or SQL Server, middleware, remote connection to database, LINUX and Windows OS. Experience using source code control, unit testing, design and defect tracking tools are required.

Qualifications: · BS in CS required (MS desired) · 10+ years experience in design and development of software systems using databases in industrial environment · 10+ years developing encapsulated applications for capital equipment · 3+ years experience in Java or C# · 8+ years experience in C++ in design & development of distributed software systems · Knowledge of UML, OOD, multithreading, multiprocess, & SW/HW integration · Prior experience working in small cross functional and outsourced teams
