As an employee of the Lowell Health Care Center, you’ll be working with a JCAHO accredited company that has twenty years of experience in providing short and long term care for patients with neurological and psychiatric conditions. Our stable and seasoned management staff have done an excellent job in creating a friendly and caring staff that have remained with us. Currently, we have four units each holding forty beds. We cater to the needs of each individual by providing each patient with the highest quality of care. Our dedicated staff of physical, occupational and speech therapists are on-site at the facility daily and do not serve as consultants. We provide a variety of activities and classes that are geared towards an individual’s specific needs. With our enhanced staff, we break these classes into smaller groups, which allows for less stimulation and more attention to each patient. Our consultant neurologists, psychiatrists and physicians visit the facility on a continuous basis allowing for a continuum of care for medical needs. These regular visits have proven to be highly successful in preventing acute psychotic hospitalizations and enhancing the quality of life. Understanding that there is sometimes a need to break away, we often take our patients on outings that involve trips to the Lowell Spinners, bowling, apple picking, the mall, restaurants and scenic rides. With so much to do, we still find away to provide employees with additional educational opportunities that promote continuous growth and development in the healthcare industry. If a friendly atmosphere that promotes growth interests you, we want to hear from you.
