Position Summary:

Field sales position with excellent opportunity for advancement. Sell and promote Comcast products with focus on video, high-speed internet and phone services. Increase product penetration through winning back former customers and acquisition of new customers.

Major Duties:

Sales and Overall:

Winback former customers by direct contact, including conducting door-to-door canvas and appointments in assigned territory.

Demonstrate strong understanding of Comcast products, promoting and selling offerings to residential customers by knocking every door within assigned territory.


·      
Demonstrate thorough & recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns for video, high-speed internet, and phone services.

 

Through door-to-door canvassing, making sales presentations during a set sales period.


·      
Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers. Evaluate customer’s existing and potential product needs and make recommendations.


·      
Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models as well as competitive advantage over other service providers.


·      
Generate business through established and approved creative methods of lead generation.

 

Prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation dates, collecting and remitting revenues as prescribed.


·      
Implement effective sales closing techniques to ensure product installation goal is achieved.

 

Upgrade and improve sales presentation, knowledge of products, services and rates and attend sales meetings as required.


·      
Evaluate competitive offers and frame response to show the benefits of Comcast.

 

Systematically review assigned territory to insure dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis.

 

Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities.


·      
Consistently meet and exceed sales goals as established by local market. Independently establish and organize daily sales activities.

  • Complete associated paperwork following each customer contact in a timely and legible manner to ensure all details of transaction are completed according to approved and standardized procedures. Report on all daily activity, including homes targeted, contacts, sales, presentations, objections, follow-up program, competitive updates, etc.

·       Identify competitive homes (e.g., Dish and Overbuild) and report competitive homes for operation to code in database.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

·       Daily check in with Direct Supervisor to review executed sales documents and contact sheets.

·       Attend team meetings and training sessions as determined by supervisor.

·       Adherence to sales quality guidelines and department policy/procedure

·       Demonstrate work schedule flexibility as needed to ensure adequate coverage of sales territory.

·       Demonstrate professional conduct and appearance. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrated record of success in outbound sales environment with emphasis on business to consumer sales preferred but not required.
  • Goal –oriented individual

·       Thorough understanding of video, high-speed internet, and phone services.

·       Excellent and engaging communication skills, ability to build quick rapport with customers

·       Ability to ask effective questions to understand the situation and customer issues/challenges

·       Positive attitude: pursues sales goals with self-confidence and resolve, bounces back after disappointment or rejection

·       Ability to quickly adapt when facing resistance or changing customer priorities

·       Ability to maintain solid relationships with subscribers

  • Strong customer service background.

·       Reliable personal transportation. Valid Driver’s license.

·       Ability to work extended hours and weekends.

·       High School diploma or equivalent – college degree preferred.
