Nature’s Products Inc. a growing manufacturer of vitamins and nutritional products in Sunrise, FL is looking for a Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities:
Exp. coordinating processes to ensure customer satisfaction. Must have an awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs, and environmental pressures.

Exp. handling processes involved in a supply chain, liaising with multiple PL facilities. Exp. dealing with transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials at multiple locations.
Train and develop warehouse personnel in proper procedures for correct and safe handling of materials. Work with upper management to review, develop, and implement innovative changes, actions and decisions that will reduce cost, improve efficiencies.

Qualifications:
BA degree with four (4) years experience as a logistics manager in warehouse supervision, or other appropriate combination of education and experience. Experience in a pharmaceutical or nutritional environment preferred.

Work activities of janitorial personnel. Coordinate work activities for those janitors maintain physical plant (internal/external) in a clean and sanitary condition. Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for their Dept. according to GMP standards.
Requirements for this position: HS diploma or GED req’d plus min. 2 yrs of on-the-job training exp; in a food manufacturing, pharmaceutical or hospital env. Fluency in the English language is required.

The role of Logistics manager involves transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials at multiple locations.

Coordinate and supervise all inbound and outbound shipments. Verify lot information, quantities, codes, etc., for all receipts and shipments. (Includes use of refrigerated transport services and UPS on-line)
